How it works

You save your details once. Railhop does the typing.

  1. Save your details once

Your name and address, kept for your claims. Bank details too, if you choose: added once, filled in on every device.

  2. Pick the delayed journey

From your journeys, a statement or a train you look up. Railhop knows which company to claim from.

  3. Railhop fills in the form

On the train company's own form: your details, the journey, the delay and your ticket.

  4. You check and submit

Read it, choose how to be paid, press submit. The train company pays you directly.

Which train companies Railhop covers

You claim from the company whose train delayed you, wherever you bought the ticket, and Railhop fills in that company's form for you. Each guide has the company's rules and proof of travel.

Delay check: Railhop has the company's trains in National Rail's train data and checks them against the company's own Delay Repay rules. The Elizabeth line and London Overground have TfL's own delay refunds, which you claim in your TfL account; Railhop doesn't fill those in. On Heathrow Express's form, Railhop fills in the first page; you finish the rest.

Used Delay Repay Sniper? Railhop is the modern way to claim: it finds your delays and fills in the form, and you stay in control of the claim. Sniper could submit claims for you; Railhop never does. Read what happened to Delay Repay Sniper.

  • Read on your device. TfL statements and e-tickets added on the website are read in your browser, not uploaded.
  • No train company or TfL passwords. You sign in to them yourself, on their own pages.
  • Bank details only if you add them. Kept in your account, encrypted, to fill the payment step. The train company pays you directly.
  • Signed in, only claims are saved. So Railhop can remind you before a deadline and stop a journey being claimed twice. Privacy policy

Questions

Where is the Delay Repay claim form?

Each train company has its own, on its own website. You claim on the form of the company whose train delayed you: check your train on Railhop and it opens the right form and fills it in for you.

Can Railhop fill in the form for me?

Yes, for 28 of the 30 train companies with a Delay Repay scheme, in the Railhop iPhone app and with the browser extension on a computer. It fills in your details, the journey, the delay and your ticket. You check the claim and press submit. It doesn't fill in TfL's own delay refunds.

Does Railhop keep my train company login?

No. If a train company's form needs you to sign in, you sign in yourself. Railhop never stores your password and never presses Sign In for you.

Does Railhop keep my bank details?

Only if you add them, so you add them once. They're kept in your Railhop account, encrypted, shown masked, and typed into the form's payment step on the forms where Railhop can do that. We email you whenever they're added or changed. On your phone they're also locked with Face ID.
