I used split tickets for one journey. Who do I claim Delay Repay from?
Short answer
Check Your DelayThe train company whose train delayed you, with every ticket you used. The delay is measured at your final destination, not where your tickets change.
What you'd get
| Arrived late byLate by | Single | Return |
|---|---|---|
| 15 to 29 minutes15–29 min | 25% | 12.5% |
| 30 to 59 minutes30–59 min | 50% | 25% |
| 60 to 119 minutes60–119 min | 100% | 50% |

Delay Repay 15, the scheme most train companies use.
The rule
Using two or more tickets for one journey is allowed (National Rail Conditions of Travel, condition 14.2), and the delay is measured at your destination (condition 32.1).
Check before you claim
- Southeastern wants one claim for the whole journey, with all the tickets in a single photo.
- If you send the claim to another company you travelled with, it should forward it to the right one.
- Claim within 28 days of the journey.
