I paid by tapping my phone. Can I still claim Delay Repay?
Short answer
Check Your DelayYes. Tapping a phone or watch is contactless pay as you go. Claim from the train company that ran the train, with your TfL journey history as proof.

Delay Repay 15, the scheme most train companies use.
The rule
Pay as you go journeys on National Rail trains are covered by the train company's Delay Repay. There's no ticket, so your TfL journey history, showing where you touched in and out and the cost, is the proof.
Check before you claim
- To download a journey history, add the card you pay with to a TfL contactless account.
- Automatic Delay Repay usually doesn't cover pay as you go: Southern, Gatwick Express and c2c say so.
- Claim within 28 days of the journey.
